Winter/ Spring Opportunities
- Join the study group looking at the greater Hartford position on education. There are three meetings to examine our 2006 position in light of the National LWV education position that was adopted after being studied in 2011 by Leagues across the country and brought through the consensus process. There will be invited guests to address current issues.

- Assist with the selection of topic and speaker for the annual meeting on Tuesday, May 21. Let us know what is an important and timely topic for you. Assist in preparing for this piece of League business which serves to educate League members and the public. Options will be considered at a February 13th meeting.

- Serve as a 10 -Minute Advocate for the League. Our state League ( LWVCT) has a very active presence at the CT Legislature. During each session, individual members can help the Public Issues team in LWV lobbying efforts by signing up to be informed about one or two topics (or more) of interest to you that are at a critical point in the process of becoming a bill or voted on. You are asked to contact your representative. All the information you need is provided.
